Nitsch Theatre Arts Classes

Want to audition for a solo singing role in our production of  Beauty and the Beast Jr? Learn exactly what you need to do for your audition video! Learn two selections of music to choose from for your audition, learn what the directors are looking for, learn about all of the different characters in the show and learn the dance audition for the production.

Stage Tots

Foundations of Singing, Dancing and Acting in an appropriate “play” environment for 3-5 year olds. Student will perform “pre-show” at one of the  Stage Kids performances. Coming this Fall.

​June​Join us in our Accapella group "SINGAPELLA" . Learn what it means to blend with fellow performers and create performance pieces as a group. 

Video Auditions can be submitted to info@nitschtheatrearts.org until June 5th. What do you need to prepare? Please send a video that includes your name, and you singing a verse and a chorus of harmony along to a piece of music.

BROADWAY DANCE

Join us in our "Summer Youth Shakespeare Festival" production based class. This summer we will be "Canned Hamlet".  The session will conclude in our normal performances.  

Ages 10-21 years.

SINGAPELLA

Ever wanted to learn and work behind the scenes for shows and to learn all the behind the scenes skills? Lighting, Sound, Set Design, Set Construction, Costumes, Propping and Stage Managing! All of these skills and more as you learn and become the Tech team for our Spring productions! 

Two classes offered each session plus optional work days and work behind the scenes. 

Classes:   Sunday June 5th and 12th at 3:30-5:00pm 

Optional work days will be held the week before "Beauty and the Beast", "Shakespeare" and "Into the Woods".

Tech crew will be used for all three summer productions

Stage Kids - Beauty and the Beast Jr.

Join us in our "learning by doing" production based class. This Summer come be our guest in our production of "Beauty and the Beast Jr." This is an all-inclusive program that is great for anyone at any level to be involved in this full scale production. Not only make friends and memories, but learn acting, singing and dancing technique as we put on a show that you will never forget. This class meets only once a week and concludes with tech rehearsals and performances.

If your student would like to audition for a solo singing role, Please send an audition video to info@nitschtheatrearts.org by May25th.  Consider attending our Audition workshop (info below) to prepare you for audition video otherwise  audition info will be posted to group after audition workshop. If you do not want a solo singing role, you do not need to audition but are still in the show.

Learn technique and learn what you need to know for a broadway dance audition as we explore tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, ballroom and more. Class will be divided into beginning and advanced skills as we aim to challenge everyone at their different skill levels.
