Stage Teens 

Join us in our new advanced "learning by doing" production based intensive class for High School Students. This advanced program is by audition only. If you are cast then you will be able to register. Not only make friends and memories, but challenge and grow acting, singing and dancing technique as we put on a show that you will never forget. This class meets only once a week and concludes with tech rehearsals and performances. Classes will be head Sundays  until closer to showtime. 

Auditions are  July 9th & 10th

Ever wanted to learn and work behind the scenes for shows and to learn all the behind the scenes skills? Lighting, Sound, Set Design, Set Construction, Costumes, Propping and Stage Managing! All of these skills and more as you learn and become the Tech team for our Summer productions! 

Classes will be held Sunday, June 13th & 27th  from 3:00-5:00pm in East Peoria. Since the Summer is so shows and we have so many productions happening {Little Mermaid, Shakespeare & Seussical Jr) it will be a true “hands-on” tech experience with most Saturdays will be work days at the NTA House.  Students/parents will be able to sign up for the Saturdays that work for them at or before the first class .Mark your calendars- Load-in Day for Little Mermaid is  July 3rd. Load-in Day for Shakespeare is  July 20th or 21st .. Load-in Day for Seussical is Sunday July 25th.  Mask, Temp checks and social distancing required.

SINGAPELLA

Stage Kids - Seussical Jr.

Join us in our "learning by doing" production based class. This Summer we will be bringing all of your favorite Seuss characters to the stage in "Seussical Jr!" This is an all-inclusive program that is great for anyone at any level to be involved in this full scale production. Not only make friends and memories, but learn acting, singing and dancing technique as we put on a show that you will never forget. This class meets only once a week and concludes with tech rehearsals and performances.

If your student would like to audition for a solo singing role, Please send an audition video to info@nitschtheatrearts.org by June 5th. Consider attending our Audition workshop (info below) to prepare you for audition video otherwise you will be emailed audition info after you register. If you do not want a solo singing role, you do not need to audition but are still in the show. Mask, Temp checks and social distancing required.

Nitsch Theatre Arts Classes

Join us in our "Summer Youth Shakespeare Festival" production based class. This summer we will be putting together two one Acts " Shakespeare Shorts" and "Omelette: Chef of Denmark". This production will allow both beginner and more advanced  The session will conclude in our normal performances.  Mask, Temp checks and social distancing required.

Learn technique and learn what you need to know for a broadway dance audition as we explore tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, ballroom and more. Class will be divided into beginning and advanced skills as we aim to challenge everyone at their different skill levels.  Mask, Temp checks and social distancing required.

Stage Tots

Foundations of Singing, Dancing and Acting in an appropriate “play” environment for 3-5 year olds. Student will perform “pre-show” at one of the  Stage Kids performs of Suessical Jr at Five Points Washington in August.   Mask, Temp checks and social distancing required.
