STAGE KIDS
STAGE KIDS - OZ!
Join us in our "learning by doing" production based class. This spring come follow the yellow brick roadin our production of "OZ" This is an all-inclusive program that is great for anyone at any level to be involved in this full scale production. Not only make friends and memories, but learn acting, singing and dancing technique as we put on a show that you will never forget. This class meets only once a week and concludes with tech rehearsals and performances.
If your student would like to audition for a solo singing role, Please send an audition video to info@nitschtheatrearts.org by January 22nd. Consider attending our Audition workshop (info below) to prepare you for the audition video; otherwise, audition info will be posted to the group after the audition workshop. If you do not want a solo singing role, you do not need to audition, but are still in the show.

MUSIC MASTERY REHEARSAL- ALL CALLED- SUNDAY, JANUARY 29TH 3:30-4:15PM at ST. PAULS ESPISCOPAL CHURCH. BY PARENTAL REQUEST- A ONE-TIME REHEARSAL FOR ALL LOCATIONS TOGETHER WHERE ALL ENSEMBLE MUSIC FOR THE SHOW WILL BE TAUGHT.
*All Spacings / Techs / Shows will be at Eastlight Theatre (East Peoria High School) for all except Bloomington which will be at BCPA.
SPACING REHEARSAL - This is where Casts respace and rehearse on the stage and get combined with the other half of their cast.

Learn technique and learn what you need to know for a broadway dance audition as we explore tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, ballroom and more. Class will be divided into beginning and advanced skills as we aim to challenge everyone at their different skill levels.

Ever wanted to learn and work behind the scenes for shows and to learn all the behind-the-scenes skills? Lighting, Sound, Set Design, Set Construction, Costumes, Propping and Stage Managing! All of these skills and more as you learn and become the Tech team for our Spring productions!
Two classes are offered each session, plus optional work days and work behind the scenes.
Classes: Feb. 26th & March 19th
Optional work days will be held the week before "OZ" and opportunities to work tech crews for Salem's Daughter, The Enchanted Bookshop for Peoria Academy and OZ!
