Ever wanted to learn and work behind the scenes for shows and to learn all the behind the scenes skills? Lighting, Sound, Set Design, Set Construction, Costumes, Propping and Stage Managing! All of these skills and more as you learn and become the Tech team for our Fall productions!
Two classes offered each session plus optional work days and work behind the scenes.

Optional work days will be held the week before "Anything Goes" and "Mary Poppins"
Tech crew will be used for both "Anything Goes" and "Mary Poppins"

Stage Teens
Join us in our new advanced "learning by doing" production based intensive class for High School Students. This advanced program is by audition only. If you are cast then you will be able to register. Not only make friends and memories, but challenge and grow acting, singing and dancing technique as we put on a show that you will never forget. This class meets only Sunday afternoons and Thursday nights until closer to show time and concludes with tech rehearsals and performances.

Learn technique and learn what you need to know for a broadway dance audition as we explore tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, ballroom and more. Class will be divided into beginning and advanced skills as we aim to challenge everyone at their different skill levels.

TECH KIDS
Want to audition for a solo singing role in our production of Mary Poppins Jr? Learn exactly what you need to do for your audition video! Learn two selections of music to choose from for your audition, learn what the directors are looking for, learn about all of the different characters in the show and learn the dance audition for the production.

Join us in our Accapella group "SINGAPELLA" . Learn what it means to blend with fellow performers and create performance pieces as a group.
Video Auditions can be submitted to info@nitschtheatrearts.org until August 20th. What do you need to prepare? Please send a video that includes your name, and you singing a verse and a chorus of harmony along to a piece of music.

Acting for Film
Get thFind out what Actors need to know when in front of the camera, build a different acting skill set, gain understanding of the film process. This is a precursor to the Stage Teens Short Film Intensive in January.

Stage Kids - Mary Poppins Jr.
Join us in our "learning by doing" production based class. This Fall we will be stepping in time and having a jolly holiday with Mary as we bring to the stage in "Mary Poppins Jr!" This is an all-inclusive program that is great for anyone at any level to be involved in this full scale production. This class meets only once a week and concludes with tech rehearsals and performances.
If your student would like to audition for a solo singing role, Please send an audition video to info@nitschtheatrearts.org by August 22nd. Consider attending our Audition workshop (info below) to prepare you for audition video otherwise audition info will be posted to group after audition workshop. If you do not want a solo singing role, you do not need to audition but are still in the show.
